If you are feeling tropical this year for Spring Break, and you are headed to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, than you are on top of your game. We could sit here and tell you how you made a great choice, but you already know that you did. You know you are in for the best week of your life at one of the most popular Spring Break destinations. People come literally from all over the world to hammer down frozen drinks on the beach here then continue to hammer down whatever, or whoever they come across. Let’s check out the nightlife, and see which places are worth heading to and others worth skipping.

Head To:

mangu-girlsMangu Disco Club: Although it is part of a hotel complex, it is open to the general public, and is for sure worth checking out. 2 floors playing different music make up this club that can hold up to 1,800 ragers, and it has 5 bars so you never have to worry about finding a drink to suck down. Expect some big name DJs to be playing here.

Imagine: A nightclub in a cave, this place is probably unlike anything you’ve seen. About 15 minutes away from most resorts, it may seem far, but once you try to choose out of the 4 caves it offers to party in, you won’t regret it!

9858478-DSC_4112Hard Rock: World known Hard Rock comes through yet again, in awesome fashion in Punta Cana. This has it all, from food, to gambling to boozing. Featured in the Hard Rock is the hottest nightclub in Punta Cana, Oro. Oro is where you need to be, as everyone heads here for dirty dancing, ripping shots, and partying until their legs give out.

Skip Out On:

Jellyfish: It’s not that this beach club is bad by any means, you can certainly have a good time here. It is just a bit more laid back than the other clubs in the area, so if you are looking to get down and party hard, you may want to skip this one. It offers great views, but when you are seeing double of everything from all the tequila, how much do views really matter?

disco-areitoArieto: Now once again, this nightclub is not bad. The reason we say you may want to consider skipping it is because it is one of the newest. Sure, that could mean that it is great, but when some of the other nightclubs already have an amazing reputation and you KNOW they are going to deliver, do you really want to risk one of your few nights you have in Punta Cana on uncertainty?
