Almost every Spring Break destination has a great daytime life. Realistically, no one is going to want to go to a location where the daytime is lacking, and only the nightlife thrives. So, naturally, people want to get the most out of their money, and this involves picking the spot with the most activities to do day and night, and of course this involves plenty of boozing. One spot that certainly has just as many things to do during the day as it does during the night, is Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It is a great place to go for Spring Break if you truly want to make the most out of your week off from draining your brain in school.
Beach Contests:
We can be unrealistic and say that many people want to go on Spring Break to relax on a beach with peace and quiet and not have to do deal with people. This may be true for a select few, but realistically the majority of people on Spring Break want to get crazy on a beach, do things and people they normally wouldn’t, and put down drinks like a groom before his wedding. This is where Puerto Vallarta thrives, with beach contests like no other. They have everything from thong competitions, best abs, nicest caboose, best and worst dancer. They even have things like burping contests for the real competition hungry. This, stacked on top of the tons of drinking competitions and events they have, make the typical day party just a bit more eventful. Add this all on a beach with DJs blasting music, and every single day there is something to look forward to. Seriously, who doesn’t want to wake up in the morning and get pumped about the coconut oil wrestling matches later and the drunken volleyball game and bellyflop competition. Sure, other locations may have a few of these games and wet t-shirt contests, but nowhere else puts it down like Puerto Vallarta for fun in the sun.
Excursions:
Another thing that most Spring Break destinations have, is the option to go on excursions. These range from a couple hours, to a half a day, or even a full day, and are a nice break from the constant hammering of booze that happens every day. That’s not to say that you still can’t get your buzz on! Puerto Vallarta is known for their amazing excursions, with some of the most popular being swimming with dolphins in the clear water, canopy tours, and the adventure tours on off-road vehicles. Of course they have the awesome booze cruises where you sail the ocean while getting obliterated on beer and rum.
If neither of those activities sound good to you for daytime, it’s okay. There are still plenty of bars and pools to rage at all day, with drink specials. Also, if you really do want to just get away for a few hours and relax, Puerto Vallarta is known for the endless beaches, so it is easy enough to just take a stroll away from the party, and lay in the sand for a bit. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is definitely one of the places to be for 24/7 activities on Spring Break.
