Cabo San Lucas, Mexico is one of the hottest new spots for Spring Break, and very reasonably so. This place gets packed every year with hot women, thousands of party animals, and luxury living. The weather is always perfect, and the drinks flow down your throat perfectly on the beach. Plenty of pool parties make this paradise worth the extra dollar it’s going to take you to spend your Spring Break here. Plenty of celebrities perform here every spring, and you absolutely get your money’s worth. Slam some tequila in Cabo San Lucas this year. Other than the unreal parties, what else is there to do there you ask? In case you need a day off from staring at hot bodies while crushing cervezas, here’s what you can do:
Adrenaline Rush at the Costa Azul Canyon
Spring break adventure begins at the beautiful Costa Azul Canyon. Take the Xtreme canopy ride harnessed from double steel cables suspending you high above the Costa Azul river canyon. Criss-cross the arroyo and soar across the trails for a panoramic vista of the flora and fauna. It’s zip lining at its finest. For an even greater adrenaline rush, there’s the Xtreme rappel. A 160-foot suspended bridge leads to this adventure. Bungee jump off for a 180-foot free fall from the mountain wall. The Tarzan swing has a system of ropes for swinging across the desert. Show off your best aerial acrobatics while on spring break. The Sling Swinger is sure to get your heart pumping. Hop aboard a gondola in the Costa Azul Canyon and swing in a pendulum with a long radius as you’re suspended 300 feet in the air above the canyon.
Book an Outback Camel Safari
For a true eco experience and some fun, book an outback camel safari in Rancho San Cristobal. These friendly and gentle giants will take you on a caravan through the unspoiled vegetation in the Baja desert and across white sandy beaches. Stop at a local ranch for some tequila and handmade tortillas filled with Mexican beans and salsa. Along the journey, there are endless stretches of the virgin coastline and Pacific. In the winter, you may even spot some graceful whales swimming by. Be sure to have your camera ready for some fun-filled picture taking. There is even a camel farm in El Tule Canyon where you feed your new friends.
Water Adventures in Costa Azul
The extensive reefs and colorful fish in the waters of Costa Azul make it the ideal destination for snorkeling and scuba diving. Snorkel and scuba dive the great waters of Chileno Reef and along Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. The East Cape offers beaches with swells for all surfer levels. Nine Palms Beach is great for beginners, and Shipwrecks Beach is a challenge for the more experienced surfer. Rent some wave runners for some splashing fun at the beach or Santa Maria Bay. Experience the incredible underwater world in the Sea of Cortez aboard a semi-submersible submarine. This adventure takes you to a sea lion colony, Lover’s Beach, Pelican Rock and Land’s End. You don’t even have to get wet to view the underworld sea life of colorful fish and reefs.
