Scottsdale, Arizona might not come to the front of your mind when you are thinking of where to head for Spring Break, but there are good reasons it should. Spring Break is a time for slamming cold drinks while soaking up the hot sun, hitting the bars at night, and getting down on some wild fun 24/7 with like-minded people. Scottsdale has all of that and more. Often called, “The South Beach of the Southwest”, for its hot population and glitzy demeanor, This spot is not one to miss.
Nightlife
With a nightlife that rivals any other big city, the area you want to be is Old Town Scottsdale. Bar after bar line the streets, and become packed all day and night. Sunday Funday is taken to the extreme in this sun city, with many bars being slammed from 11AM onward. There is a nightlife spot for everyone, no matter what you are looking for. With Arizona State University being the largest college in the country and being right nearby, there is no shortage of party animals. Celebrities frequent many of the watering holes here, so keep an eye out. All In One Fun
If you need a break from the pool bars and insane clubs during the day, no worries, there is plenty else to do. Did we mention that Arizona is home to 16 MLB teams for Spring Training, and Scottsdale is home to 3 of them? Come watch the San Francisco Giants, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Colorado Rockies for tickets cheaper than a pitcher of beer. Scottsdale gets packed for Spring Training, and it is easy to see why. If baseball isn’t your thing, no worries. Hit up the casino at Talking Stick resort for some gambling fun, or head to the golf course. Scottsdale, Arizona is world known for its golf courses because of the fact you can play all year in the beautiful weather. They are everywhere. So while every other part of the country is freezing during Spring Break, Scottsdale is a toasty 80 degrees with not a cloud in the sky.
